With more than 50 years in the entertainment industry, Eddie’s work and creations have won numerous awards including multiple Emmys, Oscars, “Pick of Show” @ NAB, Gold & Platinum Records as well as many others.  He has also received numerous citations (not the kind for parking your car in the wrong place or for speeding, but the kind they give for doing something that the City deems a good thing) and certificates of appreciation from Cities across the country.  His creations include the Hand Held Camera Stabilizer, the Emmy Award winning Camera Boom (Crane/Jib), the Emmy Award winning EZ Prompter, the SpinCam and 24P to mention but a few.  He has also won the biggest contests in the history of MTV for directing (1st for a Madonna MV, then for a Michael Jackson MV), $20K for a “Mannequin Challenge” and a Brand New Car for a National Car TV Commercial.

Based in Brisbane, Australia, Steve and his business partner Sophie launched The Photo Booth Guys in March of 2014. Within their first year of business Steve and his team took nearly 500 bookings and expanded into the UK market.

Catalina is the founder of MDRN Photobooth Company. In 3 short years she grew her photo booth company from 1 booth in one city to 9 booth in 3 cities. Cat shares her knowledge freely through her photobooth training website, educational videos like Secrets To Running a 6 Figure Photobooth Business, and weekly with Photobooth Supply Co Social Media.

Chris Breeze has established a worldwide reputation for his digital camera software, marketed on the internet since March 2001. He has over 30 years experience in software development and has been running Breeze Systems since 1994. Breeze Systems has a well-earned reputation for reliable, world class software for photo booths, for controlling single and multiple cameras and for digital workflow software.

Operations Manager, Support Guru,Darkroom Software, Wally is a 35 year veteran of the photography industry and has managed a professional studio, shot countless weddings and events and owns and operates photo booths. Wally blends patience and expertise to provide the best support in the business

Dr. Drax is an accomplished technologist, futurist, public speaker and entertainer. With over 30 years experience as an engineer, entertainer and public speaker, Drax comes to the table with a wealth of business experience and has helped thousands of mobile entertainers and booth owners to build better and more successful businesses.

Scott Faver is known as the “game master” mostly because of his gregarious and bubbly personality which transforms a room into a giant celebration of life. Scott is an expert in corporate events, weddings and bar/bat mitzvah celebrations and is infamous for his “breakfast with the game master” get-togethers. He will share with the PBX audience his marketing tricks of the trade.

Matt Goatcher is the co-creator of Check Cherry, a photo booth business management solution.  In addition, Matt has worked as a consultant for over 15 years to large and small companies where he helps analyze business problems and implement custom software solutions for them.   Matt was recognized as Riverside California’s 2016 Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

With a background in International and European law, but always attracted to the business world, Astrid got immersed in the photo booth adventure 7 years ago when, along with business partners Carlos and Claudia, she launched Tuitboo in Panama. She later became co-founder of Tweetboo Europe.  Today, Tuitboo and Tweetboo are both part of the same group, the first one mainly focused on providing services to Latin-American clients and Tweetboo performs photo activations in Europe.

With seed capital of just one thousand dollars, Alex & Marcus have built their seven-figure photo booth business, MINTANO, in less than three years. To meet the high demands of global brands, the two entrepreneurs from Germany have developed their own iPad photo booth platform: ONEBOOTH. Alex & Marcus have a background as Marketing & Digital Managers within the L’Oréal corporation. Looking back, it was this experience that helped them to tailor their software to the ambitious needs of the world’s top brands. With a special focus on the fast growing iPad photo booth industry, the two are looking forward to share their experiences with you.

Jason Hsiao is the co-founder and Chief Video Officer of Animoto, the award-winning online video maker that makes it easy for anyone to  create professional marketing videos. Animoto’s certified partnerships  with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and the Small Business Administration give it unique insight into the changing social media and business  landscape. Prior to founding Animoto, Jason was a producer for MTV Networks and Comedy Central.

Rex Huang is an independent photo booth operator, designer, and consultant. As a photo booth designer, he is credited with the creation of the mailbox slot mount for convertible computers. As a veteran operator, he runs a successful multi-op out of Los Angeles. He studied design at the Pasadena Art Center and has a BS from Cal Poly Pomona. During his down time, he enjoys rolling on the mats as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt. He has 3 children total, which include a set of fraternal twins. He is the absolute entrepreneur and a fan of Shark Tank.

Vanessa Joy has been an influential photographer in the community for years. Starting her photographic journey in 1998, she has since earned 5 college degrees, received a PPA Photographic Craftsman degree, been named a WeddingWire Education Expert, sponsored by Canon, Profoto and Animoto, to name a few. Vanessa has spoken at almost every major convention and platform in the event industry such as CreativeLIVE, The Wedding School, Clickin’ Moms, WPPI, ShutterFest, Imaging USA, Wedding MBA, WeddingWire World, MobileBeat, in addition to hosting personal workshops and numerous small business and photography conventions around the globe. Judd Lillestrand is the co-founder of Check Cherry, a platform designed to make running a photo booth business better. With over 10 years of experience as a professional web developer and marketing consultant, Judd has worked with businesses big and small to improve their online presence. His experience includes working for Zappos.com and being interviewed by NPR and Forbes.

Stephen Lynch is a 26 year veteran of the Special Events Industry. In addition to running Atlanta Photo Booth since 2005 with his lovely and talented wife Teresa, Stephen owns and operates Extreme Event Design, an extremely successful production, rental, and event fabrication studio in Atlanta Ga. Stephen’s specialties include events for schools, corporate functions, and servicing Television/ Film and Music industry clients.

Dennis Marentette has been part of the special event industry for over 30 years. As a videographer and photographer, he gained strong name recognition with creativeness and quality in his market. In 2001, he was named to the WEVA Videographers, Hall of Fame. He has lectured at international conferences on videos. In 2012, Dennis added a photo booth to his business to diversify his income. In a market that is high competitive with good quality booths, he was able to get his market share. Using traditional marketing and online exposure, he was able to build a strong market brand. Dennis will share what made him successful in a difficult market.

Brian Miller launched Photo Party Upload as the first solution to make any photo activation integrate with social media—In addition, to being in the custom photo activation game since 2007. LA Photo Party designs custom photo related software and manufactures The Photo Party Station—known for having the most robust suite of features of any photo booth on the market.

Robert is best known among mobile entertainers as the founding publisher of Mobile Beat Magazine, Singer & Musician and co-producer of the Mobile Beat DJ shows. His current focus (FLX Web Design) is showing small business owners how they can maintain their own websites no longer tied to a specific platform, web developer or designer. He is also a partner in Las Vegas based Level 11 Media, which maintains several web sites and digital publications for musicians, DJs and touring sound engineers. Bob is a wealth of business knowledge. He has written several books, owned an advertising agency, spent two decades in radio and has even performed with a live band in Vegas (on Fremont Street).
