Welcome to Photo Booth Expo and Mobile Entertainment Expo. If this is your first time, here is some helpful information to improve your experience.
South Point is BIG and seems even BIGGER the first time you are here. It’s virtually a city unto itself, and while everything you need is here, the hallways can be long. So put on your most comfortable shoes and let’s have a walk through.
This map shows the first floor (main level) layout of South Point. When you enter through the main entrance, hotel check-in will be to your right. Once you have checked in, follow the red arrow (on the map – there isn’t one on the carpet). When you get the Cashier’s cage, you can either go straight (to the hotel elevators) or go right (to show registration, the exhibit hall and the seminar rooms.
Assuming you want to go to registration, go right, walk a short distance and turn left at the Coronado Cafe. NOTE: To get to the MEX seminars (Tuesday and Wednesday) in the SHOWROOM turn right at this point and walk across the casino floor).
This is a long hallway. As you proceed, you will encounter a big statue of a cowboy on a horse – this is your main landmark for getting to know your way around.
If you go right at the horse (and up the escalator) you will be headed to the BALLROOM – This is where the Key Pass seminars are held on Monday and Tuesday.
If you go straight at the horse, you will be headed toward registration and the exhibit hall. Just keep going. Take the escalator to the 2nd level and at the top, make a sharp right turn. Go past the bank of slot machines, registration will be on your right, the exhibit floor entrance will be on your left. Demo rooms are further down the hall past this point.
To further assist you in “Getting To Know The Drill,” here are two short video walk-ins. The first will take you from the Main Entrance>to check-in>to your hotel. Note that near the elevators, there is a short hallway to the right. This is a short-cut to the long hallway that leads to show registration.
The second video walks you from the main entrance to THE HORSE, and then upstairs to the BALLROOM.
